Liberty Launch Systems has sponsored another ROCKETS Magazine Sticker Competition just for residents of Australia and New Zealand.
To enter, you just need to put a ROCKETS Magazine sticker somewhere that will get attention, take a photo of the sticker and submit it into the competition along with a brief description of where you placed the sticker and why. The people who are the most creative and effective in promoting ROCKETS Magazine get a prize. It's that simple!
As per our previous Sticker Competitions, the prizes will be a choice of DVD sets from Liberty Launch Systems (i.e. LDRS 30 or BALLS 20). These are awesome DVD's.
Entries can be submitted either of two ways:
Entries for this Sticker Competition will be accepted up until midnight on Sunday 27th May 2012 (EST). There will be another Sticker Competition later in 2012 to encompass photos from the Williams 'Wildfire' Westernationals launch.
The following conditions of entry also apply to the competition:
• You must be able to provide an electronic copy of the photo from your competition entry with a resolution of in at least 1325 x 1215 pixels (i.e. suitable for printed publication); • Photos submitted must be suitable for publication in a "family friendly" magazine; • By submitting an entry to this competition, you are also giving your consent for your entry (i.e. photo and text) to be published on the Australian Rocketry Forum and reproduced by Liberty Launch Systems in ROCKETS Magazine.
Find your unused ROCKETS Magazine stickers, whack them onto something, take a photo and submit your entry. Don't leave it until May. Here's what I did with a few stickers, but of course, I'm not entering the competition.
If you would like to participate but don't have any stickers, please see if your local club has some spares, and if not, please contact me via E-mail or PM and I will gladly send you some stickers.
Good luck!

Due to the late arrival of the February 2012 issues of ROCKETS Magazine the sicker contest will be extended to Sunday 1st July 2012. This will also allow entries from the Williams "Wildfire" Westernationals 2012 which is being held on the weekend over the 2nd-3rd June 2012.
Ciao, Mike

Our first entry for the 2012 sticker contest has been submitted by Karl Hemphill from Victoria.
A 12-month subscription to ROCKETS Magazine costs just USD$51.60 and all new subscribers receive a complimentary interruption reduction sticker, just like the one in this photo. Yes! You too could soon be smiling just as much as Karl, as you leaf through the next issue of ROCKETS Magazine.
Order your sticker today on the ROCKETS Magazine website.
Entries for the 2012 sticker contest will be accepted up until Sunday 1st July 2012.
Good luck!
Mike

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking V2?" "I certainly am V1!"
Apologies to Bananas in Pyjamas...
Must build a V2 one day.

It shouldn't be any surprise that Karl Hemphill is the winner of the 2012 ROCKETS Magazine Sticker Contest.
Congratulations Karl! That was a great photo.
Karl chose the BALLS 20 DVD set for his prize. I understand that Karl will be attending BALLS later this year.
We might tweak the competition for 2013 so as to encourage more people to enter. The more the better. If you have any suggestions for improving the Sticker Contest, please feel free to post here, send me a PM or send me an E-mail (my address is in the first post of this thread).
Ciao, Mike
